DEFINING RELATIVE CLAUSES:
Person: We can use who or that to talk about people. that is more common and a bit more informal.
The woman who/that lives next door works in a bank.
He is the man who/that I met at the conference.
Animal: We can use which or that to talk about animals or things. that is more common and a bit more informal.
The cat which/that I wanted to adopt has disappeared.

Time:when can refer to a time.
Summer is the season when I'm the happiest.
Place: where can refer to a place.
That's the stadium where Rea Madrid play.
Let's go to a country where the sun always shines.
Belonging: whose refers to the person that something belongs to.
He is a musician whose albums have sold millions.

Cuando quieras elegir el relativo para una cosa, piensa si en realidad estás hablando de un objeto o de un lugar, por ejemplo:
Ayer te di una lista. La lista es larga.
↓
(nos referimos a una cosa)
La lista que (which / that) te di ayer es larga.
O también:
Te he enviado una lista. En la lista puedes encontrar la palabra.
↓
(en realidad no nos referimos a una cosa, sino a un lugar)
Te he enviado una lista que donde (where) puedes encontrar la palabra.
